Whitehill's pre-season got off to an excellent start today with a convincing 3-0 win over Clyde at Calderglen Country Park, East Kilbride. In a first half in which the div 3 side rarely threatened, Scott Gormley missed an early penalty, then had a goal disallowed for offside. As half time approached Whitehill took the lead through Steven Manson, while Clyde's best effort was a header which came back off Darren Walker's crossbar. Two second half goals from Wayne McIntosh rounded off a fine result for Whitehill.
