Whitehill Welfare v Whitehill Welfare U20

There was a good run out for both sides in the sunshine at Oriam tonight. It was always going to be a tough test for Ian Flynn's young side however they acquitted themselves very well.

They started well but were undone twice in quick succession by the same corner routine with Willie Kidd meeting Trialists pin point deliveries to score. It was 3-0 at the break after Scott Lucas finished off a good move.

3 minutes into the second half Ryan McKenzie also headed in from a corner and on 52 minutes Kyle Mitchell made it 5-0. Substitute James McPartlin also got himself on the scoresheet before the tireless Declan Knox beat the offside trap and pulled one back for the U20s. With time all but up Scott Gormley tapped in at the far post to complete the scoring.
