Your Club needs you

Whitehill Welfare Football Club is a name that is well known throughout Scottish football.

As a juvenile club, there was the remarkable 1974/75 season when we won every cup we entered; 10 in total and remained undefeated in the league. As a senior club, we have won a record 16 East of Scotland League titles since joining in season 1979/80 and embarked on many memorable Scottish Cup runs. The most memorable of course culminating in a fixture against Celtic at Easter Road in January 1996.

Like every lower-league club in the country, we rely on volunteers to ensure the clubs survival and, hopeful, success. And that is where we need you. There are opportunities for everyone to help this great club and to ensure that it is here for many generations to come.

On match days, we are always looking for people to help at the gate, to sell programmes, raffle and lotto tickets. We need people to help at The Pie Hut. We need people who can help maintain the pitch by cutting the grass, repairing divots, clearing leaves, lining the park, putting up and taking down the nets and corner flags. We need people to help at the bar, to update social media and the website.

Even if you can only spare a little bit of time every now and then, that will make a difference to our club. Please contact any of the committee to volunteer your time.
